In diesem Schuljahr wurde im Bundeschulzentrum Wolfsberg die Talenteschmiede “Fame” eröffnet.

Die Idee für die Schmiede enstammte dem, im Jahr 2008/2009 durchgeführten, Projekt “Redwired Ideas”. Mehr infos dazu unter www.groups.redwired.org/fame

Die Schmiede ist bisher sehr gut in der Schule angekommen. Dazu das Feedback einer Lehrerin: “Die Talenteschmiede ist ein wahrer Lichtblick, jedes mal wenn ich vorbei gehe.”

Im Zuge des Aufbaus der Talenteschmiede konnte auch die Benutzung des Festsaales mit der Schmiede verknüpft werden, welcher gleich nebenan gelegen ist:

Philipp Hassler ist der Mentor (= offizieller Betreuer eines Fame Projektes) des Fame Tanzsaals und plant im nächsten Schuljahr einen Tanzkurs zu organisieren. Als kleine Motivation für interessierte Tanz-Talente haben wir mit ihm und unserem 2fast4u Photographie Team (2fast4u) ein Video zum Fame Tanzsaal erstellt:

Wir hoffen euch damit eine gute Motivation geliefert zu haben über den Sommer hinweg fleissig eure Tanzschritte zu trainieren, damit ihr dann im nächsten Jahr beim Fame Tanzkurs dabei sein könnt! Beginner sind natürlich auch herzlich willkommen!

Zurück zur Talenteschmiede: iPressl freut sich über die erfolgreiche Umsetzung der Projekte Talenteschmiede und Tanzsaal und Herr DI Dr. Pressl ist bereits gespannt auf die nächsten Ideen und Projekte, der Schüler, im kommenden Schuljahr.

A stage is put up in the public swimming park of the city Wolfsberg and everyone can perform!

After reading this GERMAN (sorry,…) article, I am happy again. All those rumors about soy being unhealthy dont feel to good. With this article, I feel much better though, while eating my muesli with soy milk:

So, for all non-german speaking readers:

Soy products are good for you! – I am glad especially, because I can continue to avoid drinking milk in other countries than home (our austrian milk is just the best)! However, soy supplements are not, because of increased levels of bad ingredients.

In the 3nd video you can follow the amazing chair challenge:


Sit down on a chair. Climb underneath the chair, come back out on the opposite side and sit back down. Without! ever touching the floor! Five people have been able to do this so far! Can you do it!?

I organized this years MIT Climbing Competition (5th and 6th of April). Many sponsors gave us good things. Mammut gave us a 15 feet tall inflatable Mammut:

Many climbers were giving their best yesterday and the competition will continue all day, today.
We will conclude the event in the evening with a party at the famous Muddy Charles Pub at MIT.
