NexPod

Is it the next iPod? No, it is all about coffee! Even better! ;_) Do you like Nespresso and others?! What if you could fill those tabs with your favorite blend and reuse them over and over!!! Nexpod does the job!

And here is a site that can get you really addicted and maybe change your life!:

Musicovery

Musicovery lets you hear music depending on your mood, or depending on what mood you want to be in while and after listening. Even without being a member, the collection of available music and possiblities are humongous. Of course, you can also go by genre (or even by year of release,…!) and while browsing through the songs you will get a feeling what mood the different titles deliver and you can then choose to keep that kind of mood or change it up or down a bit, or left or right, or whatever you like. ;_)

It was a great time, last week, when I got the chance, through two OE3 tickets, to go to the Premiere of Bully Herbig’s new movie Wickie und die Starken Maenner.

Today, Wickie is coming out everywhere in Austria. I have to say that Wickie was a funny movie. The characters are adorable and make up for a not so great plot. All in all a lovely movie for the family and people that have remained young in their hearts.

At the premiere were Bully Herbig, Jonas Hämmerle (Wickie), Günther Kaufmann (Der Schreckliche Sven). Wickie helmets were handed out, 7 cinemas were booked to show the movie (one entire cinema for OE3), the red carpet was rolled out, there was a big sound and light show and lots of fans and people eagar to win the last tickets to the premiere.

Wickie is a true example of how smarts can win over muscle. Definitely, a great movie to start a new year of school!

Wolfsberg Studios, an idea of iPressl, is a collaboration between Redwired, Dancers, Musicians and many more talents found in Wolfsberg, in Austria:

A stage is put up in the public swimming park of the city Wolfsberg and everyone can perform!

In recent times we have witnessed a real crisis in education reform:

In Austria, the US (Bill Gates speaking about Education in the USA) and in other parts of the world, the debate over tenure, incentive strategies, teacher evaluation, and public opinion has and continues to be a heated one.

The disparity between the images and perspectives portrayed in mass media and the silenced voices of teachers has led to a vicious cycle halting any real progress changing current policies.

Our IDEA and Project at MIT:

Imagine you are sitting down at a bus-stop and you are waiting for the next bus. Suddenly, you hear the voice of a chemistry professor talking, then you hear Bill Gates speaking about the problems of education in the USA, then you hear the chemistry professor, again,…

Now you get curious and you look around: You see a piece of chalk lying on the bench, next to you and the voice is coming from underneath the bench.

So, I heart that Snow Crash is a must read for every MIT student. I purchased the book and I did some research on the infamous Gargoyles described in the book:
